With over 10 years of experience as a primary school teacher, and a further 4 as a specialist English tutor, Kate has dedicated her career to nurturing young minds and helping students unlock their full potential. As the former English lead at her previous school, Kate has a deep expertise in curriculum development and a proven track record of driving academic success. Now a freelance English tutor, she specializes in supporting students with English as an Additional Language (EAL), guiding them to fluency through personalized, engaging lessons. Based in England, Kate is a passionate educator committed to empowering learners of all backgrounds. Kate currently offers online lessons only via zoom.
Kate graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University 2009 with a BA hons (QTS) in Primary education, specialising in Early years and German. She also holds a Middle management leadership qualification, gained in 2017. Kate has a 100% pass rate for exam tuition and has tutored pupils for Year 2 and Year 6 SATs (UK), GCSE English language and literature (UK) and IELTS (online).
